Cycling rest day

It was a sad morning starting our day without the full team, even the sky was crying. Over our delicious 5 star lodge breakfast we made a big shopping list as from now on, food is likely to be scarce. The day was gloomy and it really felt like something was missing but we got ourselves together and headed forward. The whole day it rained. The locals say that the rainy season came late this year and its affected all their crops. I found the Asmorein Hotel on booking.dom and we pulled in there for the night. The decor was interesting, we had moulded animals in the garden. Mom and I were loving every bit of this experience. We were offered fruit juice on arrival, they wanted to do our washing, they washed our car, we felt as if we were royalty here. Isaya, our friendly host went above and beyond to make us feel at home and comfortable. He called Mom "Mama" and he made each one of us a beaded bracelet. They allowed us to use their kitchen and all the staff stood around chatting to us, desperate to help while we made 2 min noodles and bacon. After our meal, Isaya brought us orange cake for pudding. The chef insisted on making us fresh breadrolls for our journey tomorrow. Isaya helped organize a school for us to visit tomorrow so we went to bed ready for whatever the next day brings us.
